VACANT POSITION: Candy Sales Consultant DATE: 8 November 2023 DEPARTMENT: Sales Team LOCATION: Centurion, South Africa JOB PURPOSE:

  • The Candy Sales Consultant is responsible for advancing opportunities through the various sales cycles and stages, closing new business, and achieving personal revenue, unit, productivity and profitability targets.
  • The primary objective of this role is to sell Candy and Connect Software into the Construction, Engineering, Mining and Industrial fields.
  • The Candy Sales Consultant is required to assist in generating leads, identify sales opportunities, conduct research to assist in generating new business and to attend exhibitions, road shows and other sales related events.
  • This role is required to actively participate in the planning and execution of marketing activities, providing feedback and insights to relevant supporting functions based on interactions with prospects and clients.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Achieving agreed revenue and unit Sales targets. Accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting. Accurate pipeline management and progression of leads and opportunities in Salesforce CRM. Achieving daily required customer interaction volumes. Responding to prospect enquiries within the agreed timeframe. Nurturing long-term prospects via scheduled follow up contact. Targeted cold calling to identified contacts. Tracking and progressing of opportunities through the sales cycle on Salesforce. Driving event attendance at user seminars and follow up of leads generated. Contacting leads generated at exhibitions and trade shows. Actively following up on proposals sent to prospects. Maintaining agreed lead and opportunity conversion rates. Building and nurturing own database of future prospects, and contacts. Keeping all accounts and opportunities up to date via Salesforce. Research new market opportunities and actively engage prospects. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Confident, driven, and dynamic person with exceptional interpersonal skills. The ability to manage time and prioritise effectively. Presentation skills. Negotiation skills. Target driven. Sales and pipeline planning ability. Strong numerical ability. Strong problem solving and objection resolution ability. Presentable with a high level of enthusiasm and engagement. Punctuality. Attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees at all levels of a prospective Clientxe2x80x99s organization. Team player. Construction background and experience using RIB CCS products is preferential. ESSENTIAL: Own reliable vehicle and valid driverxe2x80x99s license. The ability to travel from time to time.
