Requirements



BTech in Electrical or Mechanical engineering. Relevant

ECSA registration as a Technologist.



Code EB driving license. A minimum of 5 - to 8 years Considerable management

experience in the production or maintenance engineering



field for electrical power generation plant or similar related



industry.



Key Performance Areas



Manages the key performance areas and result indicators

associated with the production aspects of the City's hydroelectric



pumped storage and gas turbine power generating stations and



associated resources



Identifies and defines the immediate, short- and long-term

objectives associated with the production of power generation



installations



Supervising and co-ordinate the outcomes associated with

utilization, productivity and performance of production personnel



of the division's production work group



Evaluating the sections performance against budget and

addressing deviations/ variances with appropriate personnel.



Monitoring Contractor performance against agreed terms and

conditions though ongoing interaction with site personnel, on-site



inspections, etc and alerting the Contractor to any acts of



non-conformance.



Define and approve production related practices, procedures

and operational instructions and monitoring the implementation



thereof.



Produce monthly and annual reports on financial performance

indicators and NER returns



Responding, through the collection of information or conducting

the necessary investigation/ research, to enquiries and concerns



on service delivery from senior management.
