Job Description
Introduction
Our client, a reputable law firm based in Parktown, is seeking a Candidate Attorney to join their Foreclosure Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven LLB graduate to gain hands-on experience in high-volume litigation. Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
Minimum Requirements
Completed LLB degree (ready to commence articles) cession or articles will be considered
Reliable transport or ability to commute daily to Parktown
Solid academic record (graduates from UP, UCT, Wits, Stellenbosch, or UJ preferred)
Additional degrees or postgraduate qualifications advantageous
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Key Responsibilities
Drafting legal documents (summonses, affidavits, notices)
Legal research and case preparation
Court appearances in Johannesburg and Pretoria Magistrate's Courts
Liaising with clients, sheriffs, and correspondents
Full exposure to the foreclosure litigation process
Advantageous
Previous exposure to foreclosure or banking litigation
