Job Purpose This is a strategic role at the intersection of campaign execution and marketing communications. It requires someone with hands-on experience in full-funnel campaign strategy, including the ability to help shape messaging frameworks and articulate compelling value propositions. While messaging refinement and creative will be supported by content and design leads, we are looking for a candidate who can bridge the gap between campaign planning and narrative development, ensuring tight alignment between execution and strategic messaging intent. Job Responsibilities
Co-ordinate campaign deliverables with CVP specialist, Marketing, Distribution, business owners and the data team.
Plan, implement and report on all campaign activities.
Brief marketing on all campaign collateral or client engagement activity required - including but not limited to mailers, SMS's, campaign website pages, In-App messages.
Gather required data for campaign execution.
Review of end to end fulfilment processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Set and drive objectives and measures of success for all campaigns together with the business owners.
Take responsibility for all communication across various channels and platforms.
Compile comprehensive reports during and after campaign execution.
Keep informed and up to date on the marketing strategy and performance of marketing initiatives.
Provide ideas and input for the direct marketing strategy and tactics.
Provide necessary campaign support tools for frontline team members including scripts / discussion guides, campaign tracking dashboards, calculators and online tools.
Analyse all campaign results and make recommendations on improving campaign results and strike rates.
Ensure effective marketing communication through marketing collateral, public relations and online activities.
Prepare copy for marketing material and initiatives (brochures, flyers, posters, video scripts, etc.) required for every campaign or client engagement activity.
Research and understand target audiences of various external media to identify appropriate channels.
Manage campaigns from conception to successful completion.
Budget management for campaign execution.
Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc).
Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value to Nedbank.
People Specification The ideal candidate will be dynamic with great interpersonal skills. Must be a competent multi tasker and great communicator. We are looking for a team player that's passionate about learning and progressing in the role.
A strong problem-solving and solution orientated mindset.
Copywriting: Ability to write both short and long form copy and adapt to tone and voice of the client.
Analysis and Reporting: Ability to report on web analytics and sales data to provide insights into user/customer browsing and purchasing behaviours.
Attention to detail: Must have an eye on finer details including proofing product copy and conducting thorough checks across the website to ensure any errors are identified early.
Time Management: Must be able to balance urgent client requests and manage stakeholder expectations.
Planning and organisation: Must be able to self-manage projects to ensure execution of marketing campaigns. Must be able to organise daily and weekly tasks and overall workload.
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification NQF 7: Bachelor Degree in Marketing or similar qualification Minimum Experience Level 3 - 5 years Marketing experience (essential) with relevant campaign management. Technical / Professional Knowledge
