This is an exciting opportunity to oversee all operations at a prestigious luxury game lodge, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high operational standards, and a motivated, professional team across all departments. Qualifications & Experience: o High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred o 2-3 years' related experience in lodge or hospitality management o Strong business, customer service, leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills o Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently Key Responsibilities: Operations & Staff Management: o Supervise all departments including F&B, Reception, Guides, Housekeeping, Grounds, and Maintenance o Ensure adherence to lodge standards and policies o Manage staff contracts, grooming, training, rosters, and leave o Approve purchases and oversee stock management and deliveries o Capture and report on operational and financial records Guest Relations: o Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and address special requests o Monitor service standards during meals o Ensure all guest-facing areas are clean, tidy, and fully operational o Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and orientation o Handle VIP guests, complaints, and feedback professionally Financial & Human Resources: o Ensure accurate billing, cash-ups, and banking procedures o Manage stock takes, inventory control, and resolve discrepancies o Monitor cost of sales, margins, and operational expenses o Conduct performance appraisals, manage grievances, and facilitate staff training Health; Safety & Compliance: o Maintain hygiene, fire, and safety standards across all areas o Take charge during emergencies and evacuations o Ensure security procedures are followed o Promote a safe and efficient work environment General: o Lead by example with strong leadership, initiative, and problem-solving skills o Attend management meetings and carry out reasonable duties as assigned o Maintain professional appearance and punctuality at all times Package: o Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience o Live-in accommodation provided o Opportunity to manage a luxury game lodge and lead a professional team ?
