Camera Room Operator
Job Description
Duties;
- To action incoming alerts from various stores, monitoring for any risks or breaches of security, and taking the relevant steps to rectify the situation such as contacting the store and instructing them to enforce a any changes required
- To conduct regular virtual patrols across the stores and noting the findings of those patrols in the reports.
- Escalating any technical issues that have been discovered during the patrols that the issue may be resolved in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Retail Control Room Experience is essential.
- Must be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- The Control room is situated in Marlboro. So, controllermust be able to arrive for their shifts on time.
Skills
- Must be able to pay attention to detail.
- Must be able to produce concise, detailed reports in a timely manner.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team
Minimum requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric
1-3 years of CCTV control room experience in retail
Special conditions of employment:
Willingness to work overtime or be on standby as required
South African citizenship
