We are a dynamic, authorised financial services provider in South Africa operating a multi-campaign outbound call centre focused on insurance sales. We're seeking a highly target-driven Sales Manager with a proven track record in managing sales teams, achieving results, and scaling business performance in a regulated environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:



Drive growth and expand the business beyond its current performance Deliver on agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets Manage, support, and guide the salesforce and team leaders Identify coaching and training needs and implement strategies to uplift performance Maintain an adequate staff complement to meet campaign objectives Recruit high-performing sales candidates to strengthen team capacity Manage and report on the daily performance of individuals, teams, and campaigns Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans Provide structured reporting to executive management Ensure compliance with FAIS Act, company policies, and regulatory standards Optimise lead utilisation to maximise conversion and productivity Implement and manage KPIs and performance metrics for individuals and teams Champion a culture of motivation, positivity, and accountability

Key Requirements:



Matric (Grade 12) RE5 qualification Fully accredited insurance qualification (as per FSCA requirements) Minimum 3-5 years' experience in managing outbound sales teams Demonstrated success in driving and exceeding aggressive targets Strong ability to develop people, coach teams, and grow the business High energy levels and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills High level of computer literacy, especially Excel Deep understanding of call centre operations and performance management Knowledge of FAIS compliance and regulatory frameworks in financial services
