Company DescriptionAECOM is seeking a CAD Technician to be based in South Africa's Enterprise Capabilities office in Cape Town. This position will support a team locally based in South Africa and Global Teams. Grow here.Performs complex BIM or Plant Data Centric assignments involving the use of multiple application platforms, such as Revit, Intergraph SmartPlant, Plant 3D, etc. software, to achieve set results and deadlines.Technical Excellence:

• Works under direct supervision performing moderately complex technical work utilizing instructions, drawings, sketches and results from computer systems and schematics.
• May be involved in training and supervising technical personnel.
• May perform some data entry.

Qualifications

• Drafting Certificate or Autodesk/Bentley certified accreditation or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 1 - 5 years experience as working with CAD within the built environment
