Job Description
Our client has an opportunity available for a CAD Controller based in Durban.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge on how to operate CATIA software.
- Understanding of 2D technical drawings.
- Basic Program Management track skills.
- NQF 5 in Mechanical Engineering.
- Education and training certificate in Computer Aided Drawing office practice.
- 2+ years' experience in the automotive industry.
- Download and analyse data shared by customers and suppliers.
- Conduct a detailed analysis and review of 2D and 3D data on CATIA.
- Communicate design and manufacturing constraints to Customers and Suppliers.
- Update data trackers for Engineering Changes.
- Create Change Points for Engineering Changes.
- Communicate Engineering Changes with cross functional teams.
- Conduct regular reviews to update Engineering Change with Customer and Plant.
