About the Role

We are seeking a

Cabinetry Technician

with strong technical expertise and practical industry knowledge to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the

joinery and cabinetry industry

, excellent technical drawing skills, and the ability to manage projects from design through to production.

This role requires a highly organised, detail-oriented individual who thrives under pressure, communicates clearly, and can manage multiple deadlines with precision.

Key Responsibilities

Create, interpret, and manage

technical drawings

using

AutoCAD

or

SketchUp

(proficiency in at least one is non-negotiable). Produce accurate

detailing and cutting lists

for production. Read and understand architectural and design plans. Manage and coordinate

orders and supplier relationships

. Communicate effectively with the

production team, management, and suppliers

to ensure seamless workflow and project accuracy. Maintain clear and detailed project documentation using

Microsoft Word and Excel

(including spreadsheets, timelines, and tracking sheets). Work efficiently both

independently

and as part of a

collaborative team

. Make

calculated, time-sensitive decisions

to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience in the

joinery/cabinetry industry

(essential). Proficient in

AutoCAD

or

SketchUp

(non-negotiable). Strong

technical understanding

of cabinetry construction and joinery detailing. Proficient in

Microsoft Word and Excel

. Excellent

communication skills

, written and verbal. Highly

organised, reliable, and deadline-driven

. Valid

driver's licence

(essential). Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Honest, professional, and committed to quality craftsmanship.
