Job Description
*Cut, join, and shape metal and other materials into the appropriate shape.
*Using heat and a range of tools.
*Assembling pieces of metal
- Measuring and cutting materials to specifications.
- Material identification.
*Ensure all safety standards are followed.
*Welding components according to drawing dimensions and welding sequence.
*Perform tasks as requested from time to time by management or direct superior.
- General House Keeping in your workstation/welding bay and immediate surrounding area
- N1/ Grade 10 or working experience in welding.
- Welding certificate or Welding training from Marcopolo.
- At least 1 year Co2 welding experience
- . Knowledge of Marcopolo processes and procedures.
- Good technical experience
- Good experience in bus body repairs;
