Job Description
Our client in the Fintech industry is looking for an Intermediate C# Software Developer (Backend strong) to join their hybrid team in Sandton. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and enhancing websites, web services, applications, and integrations. If you're passionate about clean code, problem-solving, and creating reliable solutions, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement robust software solutions.
- Develop high-quality code that meets technical specifications and follows best practices.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications, APIs, and databases.
- Conduct unit testing, code profiling, and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to refine requirements.
- Provide operational assistance and support to internal teams and key clients.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related IT field.
- 3-5 years' experience in a Developer role (mandatory).
- Experience in the Financial Services industry (advantageous).
- Strong C# .NET programming experience.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, ASP, and related technologies.
- Proficient in SQL - database maintenance, creation, and optimization.
- Familiar with source code repositories and version control.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal).
- Disciplined, accountable, and target-driven.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
- Resilient and able to perform under pressure.
