Job Description
Our client is looking for a C Programmer with strong Linux skills to join a growing technology team in the intelligent transportation systems (ITS) space.
This role offers growth potential, project ownership, and cross-functional collaboration across international teams.
Position: C Programmer (Linux Experience)
Area: Bellville
Start Date: Immediately
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in C programming and Linux environments
- Relevant technical qualifications are advantageous
- Writing, updating, and optimizing C code in a Linux environment
- Debugging and solving code-related issues
- Creating design documentation and implementing new feature requests
- Managing multiple projects, multitasking, and demonstrating strong time management
- Taking initiative, working independently, and being accountable for assigned tasks
- Collaborating with teams across South Africa, the United States, and India
- Interpreting datasheets and supporting electronic hardware integration (advantageous)
- Using Git/GitHub for version control (advantageous)
