Qualification and Experience:
- Must possess a matric certificate or equivalent.
- Must possess a National Diploma/Degree in Purchasing or Logistics Management.
- Must possess three years experience of purchasing in a production environment.
- Manufacturing environment experience will be advantageous.
- Must be Computer literacy: MS Office - full package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Sound negotiations skills
- Must possess supervisory skills.
- Motivational / team building skills.
- Must be knowledgeable on D365 or a similar ERP system.
- Must have the ability to train and coach staff.
- Must have the knowledge and experience to interpret data.
- Must have a good understanding of financial analysis and costing.
- Must have experience in management of staff.
- Must be knowledgeable in implementing discipline.
- Must understand safety
