Job Summary Duties:
Greeting members, coordinating services and concierge requests, managing lounge areas and offering personal services
Greeting members, escorting them and proactively assisting with a wide range of personal requests.
Maintaining the club lounge, preparing and serving refreshments and meals and ensuring all amenities and food & beverage services meet high standards.
Working with other departments to coordinate guest services
Handling special requests and assisting with other unique member needs.
Monitoring guest activity and proactively addressing needs before they are expressed, aiming to create "WOW" experiences and memorable stays.
Requirements:
Grade 12
A formal qualification
At least 3+ years' experience in a high-end property / luxury environment
The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with members and staff and to build positive relationships.
Handling member requests and complaints with utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
Managing schedules, coordinating with various departments and keeping track of numerous requests and inventories.
Taking ownership of guest experiences, identifying needs and providing solutions without being asked.
Maintaining impeccable standards in all aspects of service, from the cleanliness of the lounge to the presentation of services.
Understanding formal dining etiquette, luxury guest expectation, and how to effectively promote and coordinate various resort amenities.
Essential skills for the role are excellent communication and organizational abilities, tact, discretion and a strong understanding of guest needs and luxury hospitality standards.
