We are seeking an exceptional Business Unit Executive to lead and drive strategic growth across our Trading Branches, Express Stores and Exports. This senior leadership role requires a dynamic professional who can navigate complex commercial landscapes, develop high-performing teams, and deliver sustainable business results across multiple markets.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred)
Minimum 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the steel industry.
Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving financial targets.
Strong understanding of international trade, franchise models, and multi-market operations
Experience managing P&L and budgets.
Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen
Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
Deep understanding of supply chain, logistics, and distribution networks
Strong financial analysis and business modelling skills
Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies for the Trading Branches, Express Stores and Exports.
Drive revenue growth and profitability across all business streams.
Identify new market opportunities and develop market entry strategies.
Lead business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Operational Excellence
Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement best practices across trading, franchise, and export functions.
Manage stakeholder relationships.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across all markets.
Commercial Management
Negotiate and manage key commercial agreements and contracts.
Optimize supply chain and logistics operations for export markets.
Drive franchise network expansion and support existing franchisees.
Monitor market trends and competitive landscape.
Oversee Purchasing and Mill negotiations both locally and internationally in the Trading environment.
Leadership & People Development
Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Mentor and develop talent within the division.
