About the team
Ninety One has a successful and market-leading fixed income platform that manages a range of sovereign and corporate bond portfolios and solutions across emerging and developed markets for a globally diversified client base. We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and adaptable individual to join our investment team as a Team Assistant, providing critical operational support to our portfolio specialists and investment professionals. The role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the team, supporting business operations, and contributing to the platform's commercial success and growth.
In this role you will:

Administrative Support:




+ Provide comprehensive administrative support to Investment teams
+ Manage complex diary coordination across multiple time zones, anticipating scheduling challenges and proactively resolving potential conflicts
+ Coordinate meeting logistics for internal and external stakeholders, handling various meeting formats including in-person and MS Teams calls

Team and Client Management:




+ Maintain detailed client meeting tracker and team annual leave calendar
+ Act as the primary point of contact for general and administrative inquiries

Travel and Expense Management:




+ Design comprehensive travel itineraries for complex business trips
+ Handle end-to-end travel arrangements, including flight bookings, accommodation reservations, transfer arrangements and visa application support
+ Manage monthly travel and expense processing for the team

Documentation and Systems:




+ Maintain accurate records in research management systems
+ Support general administrative tasks

Additional Responsibilities:




+ Provide backup support for departmental team assistants
+ Assist with ad-hoc project work
+ Coordinate team events and additional administrative requirements

+ Proven track record of supporting large, dynamic teams
+ Experience in financial services (specifically Asset Management) would be an advantage
+ Degree qualified or equivalent (desirable)
+ Exceptional organizational and administrative skills
+ Proactive problem-solving skills
+ Excellent communication abilities
+ Meticulous attention to detail
