Job Title: Business Studies Lecturer

Location: PAX College, Durban, KZN, South Africa (www.paxcollege.co.za)

Position Type: Full-time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

PAX College is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Business Studies Lecturer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures and providing support to students across a range of modules within the Business Studies department.

Responsibilities:

Delivering lectures, tutorials, and workshops to students enrolled in the above-mentioned modules. Developing lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to the diverse learning needs of students. Conducting assessments and providing constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress. Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum and the implementation of best teaching practices. Participating in departmental meetings, curriculum development activities, and professional development opportunities. Providing academic guidance and support to students through office hours and other means of communication. Contributing to the development and enhancement of the Business Studies department's academic programs.
Requirements:

A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Studies, Education, or a related field. Previous experience in teaching or lecturing Business Studies modules at the N4-N6 level is highly desirable. Strong knowledge and expertise in the subject areas of Business, Financial Accounting and Computer Practice -

ACCOUNTING LECTURING EXPERIENCE IS A REQUIREMENT

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate students in the learning process. Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems. Commitment to maintaining high academic standards and fostering a positive learning environment.
