ABOUT THE ROLE




The Business Performance Leader at Leroy Merlin, you will play a key role in ensuring the store operates eciently and eectively. This position combines strategic oversight, team leadership, and operational excellence to drive revenue growth, optimise margins, and enhance customer satisfaction. Your focus will include managing internal controls, fostering a cohesive and safe team environment, and aligning operational objectives with the company's vision and values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Strategic and Financial Oversight



Economic Value Creation: Support and drive revenue, margin, and inventory growth by developing and implementing actionable strategies. Profit & Loss Forecasting: Monitor and update monthly P&L forecasts, ensuring accuracy and proactive adjustments. Expense Optimisation: Analyse and control controllable expenses, aligning spending with budget objectives.

Operational Excellence



Project Oversight: Assess the economic impacts of projects, ensuring investments align with budget and deliver measurable ROI. Internal Control: Uphold internal control guidelines and security procedures, proactively addressing risks and ensuring compliance. Loss Prevention: Implement and monitor unknown loss prevention plans to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.

Customer and Team Relations



Customer Relationship Management: Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues, enhancing satisfaction and loyalty. Team Cohesion: Foster a positive work environment by aligning team goals with organisational objectives and promoting collaboration.

Safety and Compliance



Safety Leadership: Oversee compliance with safety procedures, reducing risks and ensuring a secure environment for employees and customers. Ergonomic Initiatives: Promote ergonomic practices to improve workplace comfort and safety for both staff and customers.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR



Qualification and Experience



Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Proven leadership experience in retail, with prior roles in Internal Control, Operations, or Customer Service Management. Demonstrated success in strategic planning, operational efficiency, and driving profitability.
