? Become a Business Manager, Commercial Banking ?
Are you an experienced Banker or Industry Specialist ready to make a significant impact? We''re looking for a motivated individual to join our team, focusing on growing and increasing revenue within our Commercial Banking portfolio in Modimolle/Mokopane.
What You''ll Do:
Acquire new commercial clients with an annual turnover of R30m - R1b through prospecting and networking.
Be a trusted advisor to commercial clients in specialized industries like Agri, Franchise, Fintech, and Manufacturing.
Identify and originate cross-selling opportunities for Commercial Banking and the broader Bank Group.
Manage all business risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Prepare and present large and complex credit applications.
Stay abreast of economic trends and developments (e.g., green energy, sustainable agriculture) to add value to client engagements
What You''ll Bring:
Essential Qualification: Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees.
Preferred Qualification: BCom/BSc Agric is a must, with CA/CFA or MBA being an advantage.
Minimum Experience:
4-5 years in Relationship Management within the financial sector.
5-7 years of experience in Agriculture.
2-3 years of experience in Business Acquisition.
Experience in Sales and Deal Origination for a Corporate Client Portfolio in a Banking, Financial Services, or Consulting environment.
A valid unendorsed driver''s license and own reliable transport is essential.
Strong knowledge in: Account Planning, Targeting Sales Opportunities, Sales Negotiation, and Business Acumen.
