About the Role
Were looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Specialist to support our UK education division from our base in Cape Town. Your mission will be to drive student enrolments and build strong partnerships with UK nurseries, schools, colleges, universities, and training providers.
This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where youll spend much of your time engaging with prospective students, families, and partners via telephone, video meetings (Teams), and virtual outreach. Youll be part of a team dedicated exclusively to growing opportunities within the UK market.

What Youll Do

• Reach out to prospective students, families, agents, and partners through telesales and Teams meetings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with UK nurseries, schools, colleges, universities, and training providers.
• Promote UK education institutions, guiding students and families through the enrolment process.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing agreements.
• Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and recruitment opportunities in the UK.
• Deliver against monthly and quarterly student enrolment and partnership targets.
• Provide regular reporting and market insights to the senior team.

What Were Looking For

• 35 years experience in telesales, business development, student recruitment, or international education.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales and enrolment targets.
• Excellent telesales and virtual communication skills (phone & Teams will be your main tools).
• Strong knowledge of the UK education system (from nurseries through to higher education).
• Experience working with UK student recruitment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated, organised, and confident working independently.
• Based in Cape Town, with flexibility to work across UK time zones.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience working directly with UK nurseries, schools, colleges, universities, or agencies.
• Familiarity with UK student visa processes and compliance.
• Confidence in delivering presentations and running online information sessions.
