Business Development Specialist - Cape Town (Tyger Valley)Get Backed is a specialist consulting firm partnered with best-in-class lenders to offer a full suite of business funding solutions. Backed by our economies of scale we will get our clients the best pricing, flexible terms, and service for their business.Our sales team is responsible for new client sales within the UK. They meet and exceed sales objectives by promoting and selling the Get Backed full suite of products through a consultative selling approach that effectively aligns the products to customer objectives while demonstrating a quantifiable value proposition to the client.As a funding specialist you will be responsible for sales generation, retention, and growth.REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:1: Diploma/Degree would be preferable, however, not essential2: Sales experience in complex solutions selling, preferably financial services3: A minimum of 2 years of professional sales experience (preferably financial services)4: Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal5: Strong listening and communication skills6: In-depth knowledge of the solution and challenger selling methodology7: Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales KPIxe2x80x99S monthly8: Age 25-40 years old9: Entrepreneurial experience would be great10: Strong degree of diplomacy11: Strong networking abilities12: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills13: Ability to think on your feetOther: Valid driverxe2x80x99s license, own vehicle, own cellphone, own laptop.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:1: Develop an in-depth understanding of all company products/services and the skills and industry knowledge required to sell them.2: Conduct ongoing market research and analyze trends. Share findings with the team.3: Meet and exceed sales KPIxe2x80x99S.4: Perform sales forecasts. Weekly and monthly reports.5: Maintain excellent relationships with customers that are built on trust and expert advice.
