Business Development Representative

Job Description


  • To spearhead new business development and sales efforts in the Mpumalanga region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the coal mining sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with mine owners, operators, and decision-makers.
  • Lead the full sales cycle: from initial contact and site visits to proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align client requirements with AMC's service offerings in crushing, screening, and washing.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging projects in the region.
  • Represent AMC at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings.
  • Grade 12.
  • Any relevant qualification.
  • 3+ years experience in sales or business development in the mining or coal sector.
  • Proven track record of securing new contracts or partnerships.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and travel within the region.
  • Valid drivers license
