Job Description
KWV a renowned South African brand and industry leader in the production of world-class wines, and other spirits has a permanent vacancy for a Business Development Representative, based in Limpopo: North Eastern.
- Reporting to: Team Leader: Limpopo
- Department: SA Sales
- Division: Commercial
To promote KWV brands and products within a specific geographic area by visiting Liquor outlets (mostly Off Trade outlets) as per a contracted call cycle to increase visibility and with the aim of driving increased sales.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- At least 2 years relevant experience in FMCG
- Experience in the Liquor industry will be advantageous
- Computer literate on an advanced level
- Must have a valid driver's license without endorsements as well have own vehicle
- Availability for frequent business travel and overnight stay
- Strong sales skills and experience
- Sound communication skills and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Strong negotiating, relationship building and networking skills
- Must have a passion for interacting with customers and a passion for customer service
- Must be self-motivated, innovative, and self-driven
- Develop and manage sound customer relationships
- Educate consumers regarding KWV brands
- Drive distribution i.e., availability
- Handle customer and consumer complaints and queries
- Manage sales administration requirements i.e., prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports
- Visit customers as per a fix contracted call cycle
- Implementation of the KWV way of selling
- Negotiate displays and pricing
- Ensure the implementation of the Sales Drivers
- Implement promotions and Point of sale/merchandising in store
