Job Description


We are in search of a seasoned Business Development Manager with solid management experience in a B2B and focused on Corporate clients across various sectors to grow our footprint in Mozambique. You will be an integral team member of Tsebo International team reporting to the Business Development Executive and dotted line to the Regional Managing Executive. You will be well experienced in remote camp management and have expertise in engaging with high profile client in mining, oil& gas. Exposure in large scale operations in remote parts of Africa will be an added advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for new business development xe2x80xa2 Engaging with potential customers in Northern Mozambique xe2x80xa2 Tele market, canvas and research sales leads. xe2x80xa2 Lead a sales team including internal sales coordinators. xe2x80xa2 Sell Catering, Cleaning and Facilities solutions to the market, identify prospects, assess clientxe2x80x99s needs, submit proposals, negotiate and close the sale. xe2x80xa2 Adhere to the adopted selling process with measurable monthly & quarterly target achievement. xe2x80xa2 Deliver professional, innovative, realistic sales proposals and presentations which reflect the integrity, standards, procedures and ethics of the company. xe2x80xa2 Build, promote & maintain relationships with existing & potential clients/corporate groups & ensure proper utilization of the CRM tools provided. xe2x80xa2 Attend appropriate sales meetings, functions and networking opportunities. xe2x80xa2 Prepare and present professional sales proposals at a senior level & work closely with operations in signing off financials & working solutions. xe2x80xa2 Responsible for closing sales opportunities including involvement in contract terms and conditions. xe2x80xa2 Growth of the division and the achievement of agreed sales budget. xe2x80xa2 Ensure effective communication between operations/sales/PRO. xe2x80xa2 Conduct accurate surveys & prepare financial feasibility. xe2x80xa2 Manage the appointment and sales process (sales approach to be professional, exact and above reproach).
Skills and Competencies xe2x80xa2 Computer proficient/literate.
  • Willingness to sell large, complex outsourcing solutions/ services.
  • Entrepreneurial Skill - devise strategies to expand business offering and footprint.
  • Proven Leadership skills with strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate and network at a senior level with more than average closing ratio.
  • Able to manage the sales process from inquiry to organizing & closing.
  • Interpersonal skills: Leadership & Relationship Building.
  • Good Communication (written & verbal) - Strong presentation.
  • Customer service orientated that is goal orientated and motivated to achieve sales budget
  • Exceptionally well organized & natural multi - tasker (Able to work under pressure).
  • Self-starter with high work ethic and passion who needs little supervision
Qualifications
  • Relevant qualification in Sales and Facilities Management xe2x80xa2 Minimum 6 years sales/acquisition/business development experience xe2x80xa2 Proven history of Sales target achievement xe2x80xa2 Strong understanding of business challenges and customer management with a track record of identifying and closing opportunities xe2x80xa2 Knowledge of Facilities Management industry -in remote camps xe2x80xa2 B2B experience mainly within soft services in Facilities Management. Catering management is a distinct preference in this position xe2x80xa2 xe2x80xa2 Ability to travel in Northern Mozambique from time to time
