Reporting to the Head of Sales Channel Management, you will:
Develop and execute a clear business development strategy, forecast and targets (volume, price, and profit) aligned with our Infrastructure Industry Cluster strategy
Sell directly and via Indirect channels, primarily Borouge sourced pipe grades and provide technical/commercial services keeping the value proposition in mind
Provide technical advice in collaboration with Borealis' technical experts
Demonstrate deep knowledge of pipe industry, especially polyolefin pressure pipe applications, and familiarity with referenced international industry standards.
Proactively identify new business and drive sales volume growth at optimized margins
Manage pricing, conditions and conduct negotiations
Collaborate closely with our Application Development Engineers, Marketing and Customer Service to foster a well-performing team environment
Manage after-sales activities via established indirect channels.
Gather and share regional market intelligence across the value chain to build intelligence and communicate to relevant internal stakeholders
About you
Experience with and technical knowledge (properties, conversion techniques) about polymers coming from your education or professional experience
Exposure to Polyolefins pipe grades is an essential
Solid professional experience in sales, business development and/or key account management in an international environment
Strong financial literacy and commercial awareness
Strategic, proactive mindset, high integrity and a genuine interest in understanding customer needs and strategies
Excellent communication, influencing and networking skills
Fluency in written and spoken English language
Familiar with modern CRM tools and Excel
