  • Strong technical understanding of mining processes and related vendor applications.
  • Project management experience is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as required.
Duties
  • Business Development & Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the required sector.
  • Identify new business opportunities by researching and engaging with potential customers.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine targeting strategies.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and promote modular building solutions.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and projects.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for mining sector clients.
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and site visits to showcase modular building solutions.
  • Understand client needs, project timelines, and budget constraints to offer tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Contract & Negotiation Management:
  • Negotiate rental rates and terms to optimize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit RFQ proposals and quotations in response to client inquiries.
  • Ensure all rental contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Fleet & Operations Coordination:
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the rental fleet is well-maintained and available for deployment.
  • Oversee the logistics of delivery and setup of modular buildings at client sites.
  • Ensure efficient fleet utilization to maximize revenue generation.
  • Financial Management & Reporting:
  • Monitor and report on fleet performance, including utilization rates, revenue trends, and profitability metrics.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports on business activities, pipeline, and market insights.
  • Work closely with the debtors department to ensure timely payments and account reconciliation.
  • Customer Service & Issue Resolution:
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns promptly.
  • Work proactively to resolve issues related to rental conditions, delivery, and maintenance.
  • Provide ongoing support to maintain long-term partnerships.
