The role:

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele and market. You will be at the forefront of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales and growth strategy.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Requirements

Proven track record of successful business development and sales in the software development industry.

Strong understanding and market knowledge of software development processes, technologies, and trends.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills, with a knack for building rapport and trust.

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Proficiency pipeline management, ability to execute using related tools and systems (Google Suite, Slack etc)

Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills

Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, handle uncertainty and be proactive

Responsibilities

Market Insights and Strategy:

Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies related to software development.

Provide feedback to internal teams about client preferences, competitor activities, and market demands.

Spearhead the formulation of sales and business development strategies.

New Business Development:

Identify and target potential markets and clients to generate new business opportunities for financial gain

Conduct market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets and industries.

Arrange business meetings with prospective clients

Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.

Client Relationship Management:

Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their requirements and providing exceptional customer service.

Collaborate with new and existing clients to understand their pain points, challenges, and business objectives.

Act as a trusted advisor, proposing tailored software solutions to address client needs.

Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support

Sales and Revenue Generation:

Develop and deliver persuasive sales pitches, presentations, and proposals to potential clients.

Promote the companyxe2x80x99s products/services addressing or predicting clientsxe2x80x99 objectives

Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcome in line with Finance and Co-Founders

Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals, consistently contributing to company growth.

Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices and contracts using tools and platforms provided.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:

Work closely with the Software Development Managers and Co-Founders to ensure alignment between client requirements and technical capabilities.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new offerings.

Liaise with the business to create compelling sales collateral and promotional materials.
