We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager / Commercial Manager to drive growth in our Pharmaceutical & Agri Pesticides division. YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE

  • Lead the expansion of our analytical services and scientific solutions portfolio for the Pharmaceutical and Agri pesticide industries in South Africa.
  • Act as the bridge between science and business - developing tailored solutions, nurturing long-term client relationships, and ensuring regulatory excellence.
  • Collaborate with a global team committed to quality, innovation, and impact.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to grow market share.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify new opportunities and design tailored service solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless client experiences
YOUR PROFILE
  • BSc in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology or related field is a must.
  • 3-5 years in sales management within the pharmaceutical or analytical services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP and regulatory frameworks (SAHPRA, WHO, PIC/S, GLP).
  • Proven track record in client-facing roles with a technical background.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and willingness to travel regularly across South Africa.
