Business Development Manager Cape Town

Job Description

The successful candidate is required to secure new business opportunities that are aligned with the organisation's preferred client profile and to achieve all revenue targets as outlined in the Sales Contracts.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage and build a Sustainable Sales Pipeline
  • Manage all opportunities, Accounts and Productivity on Dynamics our prescribed CRM system
  • Onboard and Implement new business
  • Manage an effective Diary
  • Build strategic relationships at multiple levels within their client base
  • Focus on Consultative Selling to strengthen our position from a supply chain perspective
  • Meet monthly/quarterly targets
  • Meet weekly & monthly call targets
Requirements:
  • Matric
  • Minimum of 2 years' sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain environment
  • A good understanding of Air, Ocean and Road Transportation, Forwarding and Customs Clearance
  • Own vehicle
  • Valid driver's license
