The Role

Your primary focus will be to identify, understand and bring in new business. You will identify and prioritise suitable potential clients, create a strong sales pipeline and manage the end-to-end sales process. You are a hunter with great negotiation and closing skills and will also manage your accounts long term, build strong relationships and monitor their performance. By working together with the operational, support and marketing team you will ensure performance improvement of your portfolio. You are a details-oriented individual with strong administrative skills who is always in control of their pipeline and portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understand last mile logistics to identify and prioritise suitable prospects across different industries
  • Create and being in control of a strong sales pipeline, with a long-term view
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process of new business and focus on gain wallet share in your existing portfolio
  • Achieve set sales targets and drive customer success
  • Establish, develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers and internal partners
  • Own your metrics that matter
Requirements

You enjoy working in a fast paced agile environment and a high performance team. You enjoy working independently and are a self-starter. You are laser focused on customer experience. This means that you approach each new client differently, by understanding their needs and problems and fit our solutions according to their needs. You have a consultative and relational sales approach to your work. You are dynamic and can cope with changes to our product and solution set.

Someone who is aligned to our values and approach and:
  • Experienced sales and business development representative or related roles
  • Experience in or exposure to last mile logistics
  • 2-3 years experience in Courier ideally servicing the B2C market.
  • Understanding of plugins for eCommerce platforms
  • Understanding of eCommerce Industry
  • Target driven with a proven track record in enterprise sales
  • Creative problem solver with a curious mind
  • Excellent communication, selling and closing skills
  • Highly relational with the ability to take on feedback and coaching
  • Strong analytical and administrative skills:
  • with experience in CRM tools (like Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM)
  • Advance experience using Google Sheets or MS Exel
  • Compiling Pitch Decks using Google Slide or MS PowerPoint
  • Adapt to Pargoxe2x80x99s customer-obsessed culture
  • Focuses on the outcome
