Job Summary

Business Development Manager

A leader in the Business process outsourcing (BPO) space is looking to employ an experienced and eager hunter to spearhead business development for the company. The Business Development Manager for BPO services will specializing in new business acquisitions and will play a pivotal role in spearheading the growth and sustainable success. This position necessitates an in-depth comprehension of the BPO industry, coupled with an innovative mindset to craft and execute effective business development strategies. Collaborating closely with the Head of BPO, the Head of Client Value Management, and cross-functional teams within the bigger group.

Experience we look for:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a sales role with a focus on new business acquisition.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the CX (Customer Experience) and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) industries, with a focus on new business acquisition.
• Extensive knowledge of the nuances, challenges, and opportunities present in the CX and BPO sectors.
• Well-acquainted with industry associations like Cape BPO and BPESA. Prior engagement, partnership, or collaboration with these entities would be a significant advantage.
• Understanding of the strategic objectives, mission, and vision of associations like Cape BPO and BPESA.
• Demonstrated experience in positioning a company or service within these industries effectively.
• Evidence of having established successful partnerships, collaborations, or engagements because of sales initiatives.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.

Essential Qualifications we are looking for:

• Matric Certificate
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant Business Administration or its equivalent is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
