This role requires a true hunter - someone with a strong drive to proactively seek out and acquire new business and clients for the companyRole OverviewThis is a purely sales-focused role aimed at identifying new business opportunities, bringing in new clients, and driving revenue growth within the logistics and supply chain space. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in selling logistics services and a solid understanding of the local and regional transport landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, target, and secure new business opportunities in the logistics and supply chain sector.Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.Conduct client meetings and site visits to assess logistics needs and propose tailored solutions.Develop and present compelling proposals and pricing strategies aligned to client requirements.Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure successful service delivery.Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and client interactions.Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies.Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.Minimum RequirementsGrade 12 (Matric)Relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, Logistics, or Supply Chain (advantageous)Minimum 3 years' experience in B2B sales within the logistics or transport industryProven track record of successfully closing deals and growing a customer baseStrong understanding of logistics services (e.g., road freight, warehousing, distribution)Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skillsOwn reliable vehicle and valid driver's licenseMust be based in or able to commute daily to GermistonPersonal AttributesSelf-motivated and target-drivenConfident, persuasive, and well-presentedExcellent problem-solving and solution-selling skillsStrong business acumen and customer-centric approach
