Large Corporate Catering company is seeking a Business development specialist to grow its portfolio by sourcing and securing retainable business - Previous Hospitality Sales experience essential. As per the company equity quota this position is open to all candidates in the Indian, African or Coloured demographic. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Tertiary Education essential
- Outgoing, presentable demeanour
- Sound knowledge and experience of the sales process
- Computer Literate (Excel & Word)
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience preferably in the HOTEL INDUSTRY
- High Impact presentation and proposal writing experience
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Sound financial knowledge and budgeting
- Track record of achieving sales targets and objectives
- Own Vehicle & Driverxe2x80x99s license xe2x80x93 Extensive Travel
- Implementation of Strategic Business Development Objectives
- Achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Achieve targets and objectives
- Deliver professional, innovative, realistic sales proposals and presentations which reflect the integrity, standards, procedures and ethos of the company
- Create, develop and maintain meaningful relationships with both existing and potential clients
- Present The Company Catering Services in a dynamic, highly professional and ethical manner
- Client Liaison & Retention
- Develop a strong, proactive effective working relationships with the Exco, Operational and Support teams
- Do you have a CLEAR criminal record?
- Do you have a CLEAR ITC Credit record, if in debt review kindly mention?
- Are you a SA citizen with a valid SA ID?
- Are you a EE (Employment Equity) candidate i.e. from an Indian, Coloured or African demographic?
- Do you have your own vehicle in order to service existing clients and also write new clients?
- Do you have an UPDATED CV in word format with contactable references at each Employer?
- Have you ever been dismissed from a previous employer, Yes or NO, if yes, kindly elaborate?
- Do you reside in the Durban region in order to attend a face to face interview in Sandton if selected?
- Diploma (Preferred)
- Hospitality Management: 5 years (Preferred)
- Hotel Sales: 5 years (Preferred)
