As a Business Development Associate, your focus will be on identifying and engaging with decision-makers across local and global markets. Youll generate leads, build brand awareness, set up demos, and work closely with the senior BD team to close deals and build lasting client relationships. Its a role suited to someone whos tenacious, curious, articulate, and eager to grow into a senior sales function.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Completed Degree (BCom, BSc, BA, or related field)
6 months to 2 years' experience in a B2B or SaaS sales.
A strong customer-centric personality with excellent interpersonal and research skills.
A fast learner who can grasp financial concepts quickly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly driven, target-focused, and organised.
Comfortable engaging with C-suite executives and decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify prospective clients in local and international markets.
Generate leads and build brand awareness through social media and networking.
Conduct outreach via email, cold calling, and other approved channels.
Set up meetings and demo appointments with decision-makers.
Collaborate with team members to support deal progression and client engagement.
Build relationships and act as a trusted point of contact for prospective clients.
Collaborate with the business development team to grow the sales pipeline.
Assist senior BDs and dealmakers with closing and strategy execution.
