Diploma/Degree in Marketing and Sales or similar field
National Qualification in Mechanical/ Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering (advantageous)
Languages:
English Read, write and speak (required)
Afrikaans Read, write and speak (optional)
German Read, write and speak (optional)
Drivers License: Code 8 (required)
Experience:
Strong communication and presentation skills
3+ years relevant work experience
Experience with CRM tools and contact management
Experience in the automation field, PLC & control systems (advantageous)
Previous experience in turnkey projects (advantageous)
The ability to explore, identify, learn and implement new and creative ways to improve processes, products, services, practices, customer value, organisational effectiveness and culture
The ability to understand financial and economic concepts and principles; to identify, create and/or exploit opportunities, and improve the viability of a business
The ability to ensure high standards of quality and service delivery to meet and exceed client expectations
Job Objectives:
Actively seek out new opportunities for Jendamark Automation projects
Grow and develop the Jendamark core customer base to ensure that annual sales targets are achieved
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Implementation and management of CRM system for new sales
Securing customer meetings and site visits to actively market Jendamark and our new technologies
Defining/creating sales presentations and marketing materials to present to customers
Actively identify new suitable project opportunities to ensure Jendamark has the opportunity to quote
Handover new quote topics/RFQs to the project sales department for quoting
Gathering market data to ensure our product offerings are aligned with the requirements/needs in industry
Compiling and analysing data on the competition.
