Basic Requirements:

• Formal Tertiary education:

• Diploma/Degree in Marketing and Sales or similar field
• National Qualification in Mechanical/ Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering (advantageous)
• Languages:

• English Read, write and speak (required)
• Afrikaans Read, write and speak (optional)
• German Read, write and speak (optional)
• Drivers License: Code 8 (required)

Experience:

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• 3+ years relevant work experience
• Experience with CRM tools and contact management
• Experience in the automation field, PLC & control systems (advantageous)
• Previous experience in turnkey projects (advantageous)
• The ability to explore, identify, learn and implement new and creative ways to improve processes, products, services, practices, customer value, organisational effectiveness and culture
• The ability to understand financial and economic concepts and principles; to identify, create and/or exploit opportunities, and improve the viability of a business
• The ability to ensure high standards of quality and service delivery to meet and exceed client expectations

Job Objectives:

• Actively seek out new opportunities for Jendamark Automation projects
• Grow and develop the Jendamark core customer base to ensure that annual sales targets are achieved

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Implementation and management of CRM system for new sales
• Securing customer meetings and site visits to actively market Jendamark and our new technologies
• Defining/creating sales presentations and marketing materials to present to customers
• Actively identify new suitable project opportunities to ensure Jendamark has the opportunity to quote
• Handover new quote topics/RFQs to the project sales department for quoting
• Gathering market data to ensure our product offerings are aligned with the requirements/needs in industry
• Compiling and analysing data on the competition.
