Develop & maintain customer relationships and develop, grow and retain assigned accounts within the
designated territory. * Initiate and manage sales promotions, training and scheduling of customers visits arranged in conjunction with
the Regional Sales Manager - Inland, our client and in line with the budget or forecast. * Manage and respond to customer queries and on-going support requirements.
Identify new sales opportunities and communicate to all relevant parties in terms of brands, projects, or markets.
Communicate sales performance with the aid of reports and draw up short-term/long term plans for
merchants/branches sales targets. * Manage structured call cycles and call plan regarding customer visits, road trips, launches and provide feedback
of all actions resulting from such visits. * Manage marketing intelligence, competitor analysis, competitor activity.
Reporting on sales by customer/country/product, competitor activities, product significance, customer
significance, promotional activities, training and any relevant information required or is entered into the CRM system on a regular basis.
Purpose of the role:
Business Development Advisors are the key point of contact between an organization and its Trade Channel clients. This role is responsible for identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships and strategic key account management.
