RPO Recruitment's client in Supply Chain Systems is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team in Kuils River. This role involves acting as a bridge between the Business and IT suppliers to develop optimal business processes and system functionality in line with the business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Assess and define change requests from users related to business processes and systems, providing solutions and support for implementation
• Manage change requests effectively from business stakeholders
• Translate business process and system requirements into specific projects that align with the strategic framework
• Provide timely support to internal users on processes, systems, and technology activities
• Offer ongoing user support
• Document current information, data, and solutions in detail
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the culture of super users

Requirements

• Essential: Degree/Diploma in IT or BComm in IT/Business.
• Preferred: Business Analysis/Process-related Diploma and affiliation with a professional institution for Business Analysis (IIBA).
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Deep understanding of operations and systems
• Knowledge of business analysis methodologies (BABOK)
• Commercial understanding of the Retail systems environment
• Essential: 3-4 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in Retail/Supply Chain.
• Experience in system analysis, business process development, and documentation according to BABOK methodology.
• Acting as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
• Identifying, assessing, and documenting business requirements.
• Preferred: Strong grasp of business fundamentals and strategic priorities, project management, system support exposure, and knowledge of system architecture.
• Strong analytical, communication, planning, and organizing skills
• Influencing, leadership, networking, evaluation, and conflict-handling skills
• Management and problem-solving skills
• Presentation and facilitation skills
