The Business Analyst specialist will deliver insights and recommendations by analyzing processes, systems, and data, bridging business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure needs are accurately captured and translated into solutions.
Key Performance Areas:
Business Requirement Analysis
+ Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives and needs
+ Elicit, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements
+ Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for changes in business processes or systems Process Mapping and Improvement
+ Analyze existing workflows and identify inefficiencies or areas for automation
+ Develop and maintain detailed process maps using tools like Visio or BPMN
+ Recommend and design improved business processes Stakeholder Communication
+ Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to gather input
+ Present findings and proposals to various audiences, including executives
+ Ensure stakeholder alignment and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle Solution Assessment & Validation
+ Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement solutions
+ Support testing efforts (e.g., UAT) by preparing test cases and validating outcomes
+ Evaluate the performance of implemented solutions and make recommendations for enhancement Documentation and Reporting
+ Prepare clear business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specs, use cases, and user stories
+ Create reports, dashboards, or KPIs as needed for business tracking and decision-making
+ Maintain project documentation in accordance with internal standards
Job Requirements
Qualification:
Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA)
Experience:
5+ years of experience
Business analysis, preferably in a specialist or senior role
Strong understanding of business process modeling and requirements engineering
Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
