MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Mediclinic is on its Digital Transformation journey and this role will lead, drive and manage business requirements engineering in the assigned areas with a strong focus on analysing, defining and improving business processes and translation into technical requirements and concepts to increase digital maturity, efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

This role is also responsible to evaluate the impact of business requirements on the organisation (business and ICT); develop sound business cases including TCO and ROI calculations in alignment with the specific initiatives goals and objectives, as well as the execution and management of assigned project deliverables to bring the business requirements into technical solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Lead and take responsibility for business analysis, business requirements engineering and translation into technical requirements and concepts in the defined area
• Manage deliverables within projects / sub projects from initiation through to implementation, including planning, tracking, testing, go live and reporting
• Consult and collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for further digitalisation opportunities and process improvements within assigned initiatives
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relations
• Report and provide continuous feedback to relevant stakeholders

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business and Process Engineering, Business and System Analysis, Agile methodology or a related field

DESIRED EDUCATION

Project Management certification, Requirements Management certification

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

8 years' experience in an ICT business analyst role and a strong focus on digitization initiatives

Experience in mapping the specific initiative goals into business requirements and translation for successful creation of a technical solution

Experience in process management and optimisation

Experience in project management as a project lead or sub project lead in a multinational organisation specifically delivering of ICT applications and solutions

Understanding of the management and improvement of an application environment with strong business process focus

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Analyse project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives and solve problems that involve remote and elusive symptoms, often spanning multiple environments in a business area
• Business Partnering
• Business process management, workflow and integration methods and tools
• Evaluation of system functionality against business requirements including full system testing
• Existing, new and emerging technologies and the ability to use them in new business designs and business models
• Healthcare industry understanding
• Project management principles and methodologies (Agile)
• The gathering, documentation and analysis of business requirements and business processes (requirements engineering) and translating them into technical requirements and concepts incl. analysing of organisational impact
