As a Business Analyst at our investment start-up, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This role is based in Parktown, Johannesburg North.

Your key responsibilities include:
Business Analyst:

• Conduct in-depth analyses to identify meaningful trends.
• Collaborate with managers for operational efficiency improvements.
• Provide timely financial and business analytics.
• Develop actionable roadmaps for process improvements.
• Establish and organize KPIs aligned with global directives.
• Identify and communicate with key stakeholders.
• Liaise between business departments and groups.
• Assess options for process improvement and conduct business process modeling.
• Maintain documentation for projects, processes, and operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful project outcomes.

Investment Analyst:

• Identify new investment opportunities.
• Research and analyze financial performance of target companies.
• Stay informed about political and economic developments affecting financial markets.
• Examine company accounts and analyze data.
• Produce reports for fund managers and stockbrokers.

Data Analyst:

• Identify common data objects between legacy systems for database merging.
• Document data to be migrated and left.
• Assist Data Stewards in defining legacy system data for- migration.
• Maintain a data dictionary for the target system.
• Conduct data quality assessments, maintain data quality dashboards, and report data exceptions.

Financial Analyst:

• Analyze and interpret the financial operating result of the brand.
• Prepare and analyze financial information, forecasts, and budgets.
• Conduct finance review meetings and provide relevant ad-hoc reporting.
• Implement and analyze strategies, ensuring compliance.
• Assist in the preparation and consolidation of cost information.
• Coordinate, analyze, and assess various strategic projects.
