About the role
Joining our Front-to-Back team, you will develop a deep understanding of the firm's end-to-end operations and play a pivotal role in our mission to improve the efficiency of our processes. This is a hands-on role for those who demonstrate high performance by fast delivery, you will identify business needs, uncover process inefficiencies, and design scalable solutions to enhance operational performance.
This role suits a proactive individual who can quickly grasp complex business processes and support the design and implementation of practical solutions. We're a lean team in a fast-moving organisation, so you will get great exposure, but you must be able to work independently.
Accountabilities
Operational Analysis
- Evaluate current workflows and recommend improvements across client onboarding, product execution, settlements, and reporting.
Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in current business processes and recommend solutions to optimize performance and client satisfaction.
Process Documentation
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of business processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and system workflows.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse operational data to track efficiency against key metrics and identify trends and opportunities for improvements.
Change Management
- Support the implementation of new systems, tools, and processes by coordinating with cross-functional teams and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Stakeholder Relationships
- Foster collaborative working relationships with operations, compliance, and front-office teams.
Governance Support
- Ensure operational processes receive appropriate scrutiny and governance before implementation.
Testing & Validation
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements and operational changes.
Skills and Experience
3 - 5 years Business Analyst experience in financial services (amazing if its Wealth Management, Financial Planning or Asset Management).
Aptitude for data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. SQL, DOMO, Power BI etc.*). An understanding of financial services back end processes and how they support the scalability of the business.
You love working in a small team where you can make an impact.
Experience with CRM systems, portfolio management platforms, or financial planning software or platforms such as IRESS or XPlan would be highly beneficial.
Happy to attend our Somerset West offices 3 days per week.
Ability to collaborate effectively with onsite and remote teams.
