Secure opportunities to quote and supply bulk petroleum products.
2. Sales & Revenue Generation
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Negotiate pricing, volumes, and delivery terms aligned with company margins and customer needs.
Coordinate with operations/logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Promote additional products or services that can benefit the client.
3. Client Relationship Management
Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term loyalty.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service, pricing, and contract inquiries.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure satisfaction and explore expansion opportunities.
4. Market Intelligence & Strategy
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing fluctuations.
Provide regular feedback to management on customer needs, challenges, and potential growth areas.
Recommend pricing structures, marketing campaigns, and strategic partnerships.
5. Digital & Online Sales
Use digital platforms (LinkedIn, WhatsApp Business, CRM systems) to generate and follow up on leads.
Respond to online quote requests and manage virtual communication professionally.
Contribute to the online growth strategy by identifying digital opportunities for outreach.
6. Administrative Duties
Maintain accurate records of all interactions, quotations, orders, and customer data in CRM tools.
Prepare weekly reports on performance, forecasts, and pipeline health.
Ensure all documents, contracts, and agreements are completed and filed correctly.
Key Requirements:
Proven Experience:
Minimum 5 - 10 years in sales, preferably in the petroleum, fuel, or logistics industry.
Sales Acumen:
Demonstrated success in B2B selling, client acquisition, and meeting sales targets.
Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of fuel types, logistics, pricing, and distribution processes.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-Motivated:
Highly driven, independent, and results-oriented.
Mobility:
Willingness to travel frequently to client sites.
Tech Proficiency:
Familiarity with CRM software, Excel, email marketing, and online lead generation.
