Building Foreman - StellenboschStellenbosch, Western Cape , our client a large building contractor require an experienced building foreman to join their project team.Responsibilities:Site Management:Oversee and manage the construction projects assigned to you from start to finish.Coordinate with the site manager to ensure projects are executed within the given timeline and budget.Assist in the monitoring and manage the delivery, and usage of construction materials efficiently.Minimize wastage and ensure the timely availability of materials on-site.Enforce strict adherence to quality control procedures and standards throughout the construction process.Conduct regular inspections and checks to ensure compliance with project specifications.Prioritize safety on the construction site and ensure all workers and subcontractors adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the site managerDemonstrate a strong understanding and experience in wet trades, such as concrete, masonry, plastering, waterproofing and earthworks , finishing experience would be an advantage.Lead and motivate the construction team, ensuring they work efficiently and effectively.Foster a positive and productive work environmentSubcontractor Management:Supervise and manage subcontractors, ensuring they perform their tasks efficiently and meet quality standards.Allocate work to subcontractors and ensure they have the necessary resources and information to complete their tasks.Requirements:Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on residential developments, apartments, and stand-alone housing projects.Strong expertise in wet trades.Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects to completion.Ability to manage subcontractors.Thorough understanding of quality control procedures and standards in the construction industry.Strong commitment to safetyStrong leadership and communication skills.References from previous employers or clients available upon request.Successful candidate will have access to a company LDV strictly for work purpose .If you meet the specified requirements and are interested in the position of Building Foreman with our client , please submit your resumeJob Type: Full-timeSalary: R25,000.00 - R28,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:Stellenbosch, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:building contracting: 10 years (Required)Application Deadline: 2023/10/05
