Build Technician Infrastructure
Port Elizabeth - Eastern Cape - South Africa

The Build Technician role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless assembly of PCs, notebooks, and servers for both in-house spec builds and client imaging. With a commitment to precision and efficiency, this position plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of each order. Collaborating closely with the technical department, the Build Technician contributes to exceeding customer expectations while fostering personal growth in technical expertise. From assembling to sequencing orders under the guidance of the Assembly Supervisor, this role ensures uninterrupted production line flow and optimal productivity. Matric with 2 years in a similar role is requirement. Experience in a production-line setting and basic understanding of RAID, Server assembling, and Quality Control is advantageous. Based in Port Elizabeth.

Salary: Up to R8 500 tctc

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of PCs, Notebooks, and servers
• Follow designated order sequences or instructions from the Assembly Supervisor
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of each order
• Maintain continuous production flow for optimal productivity
• Assist the Technical department, enhancing personal technical knowledge and skills

Requirements

• Matric qualification required
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
• Relevant experience in production-line settings
• Basic understanding of RAID
• Server assembly/QC knowledge (advantageous)
• Intermediate computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal abilities
• Numerical aptitude for basic calculations
• Team collaboration skills
• Attention to detail
• Conflict management proficiency

Organizational and time management skills in deadline-driven environments
