Job Title: Budtender

The Budtender is a customer-facing retail associate responsible for providing excellent service in a licensed cannabis dispensary. This role involves educating customers on available products in a compliant, professional manner, maintaining a welcoming store environment, and ensuring all transactions follow state and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and verify eligibility according to legal requirements Provide accurate, responsible information about cannabis products, including general effects and product categories Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle transactions accurately Follow all state, local, and company compliance procedures Maintain organized, clean, and well-stocked sales areas Track inventory and report discrepancies as needed Stay up to date on new products, policies, and regulations Deliver a professional, respectful, and inclusive customer experience
Qualifications & Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older and meet all state and local requirements Strong knowledge of cannabis products, including general categories such as flower, concentrates, edibles, topicals, and accessories Passion for cannabis culture and the legal cannabis industry, with a desire to stay informed about new products and trends Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate customers in a clear, professional, and compliant manner Commitment to responsible sales practices and adherence to all cannabis laws and regulations Customer-focused mindset with a friendly, approachable attitude Ability to learn and retain detailed product and compliance information Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
