B-Stock Quality Service Controller



Purpose of the Role



Quality Control focuses on maintaining and improving the quality standards of operations within a warehouse environment. While a Warehouse Managemenet ensures general operations and logistics run smoothly, a Warehouse Quality Controller specifically ensures that all processes, inventory handling, and storage meet regulatory, safety, and company quality standards.

Responsibilities



1.

Quality Assurance Oversight:



Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all goods received, stored, and dispatched meet required standards. Ensure products are handled correctly to prevent damage or contamination. Oversee inspection of incoming and outgoing goods.

Audit and Compliance:



Conduct regular internal audits and inspections of warehouse processes. Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and safety standards Prepare for and support external audits (e.g., customer or regulatory).

Process Improvement:



Identify areas of risk or inefficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with warehouse operations to reduce errors, improve accuracy, and increase efficiency.
4.

Defect and Incident Management:



Investigate quality issues such as stock discrepancies, damage, or order fulfillment errors. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address root causes. Maintain records of quality incidents and actions taken.
5.

Training and Development:



Train warehouse staff on quality procedures and standards. Promote a culture of quality awareness throughout the warehouse team.
6.

Reporting and Documentation:



Maintain documentation related to quality procedures, audit results, corrective actions, and compliance. Report on key quality metrics to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications



Education:

Degree or diploma in quality management, logistics, supply chain, or related field.

Experience:

3-5 years in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment with a focus on quality control/assurance.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving, excellent communication, and people management.
