GENERAL SCOPE
The Diversey BSC Accounts Manager will drive aggressive sales growth within the Building Service Contractor (BSC) sector across Southern Africa. This role demands a strategic leader who can deliver sustainable, profitable growth while ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to aggressively expand market share and revenue within the BSC sector Leadership & Management: Provide general management and leadership for all operating functions within the sector, fostering a high-performance culture. People Development: Mentor and develop team members to achieve business objectives and personal growth. Business Planning: Create and implement business plans aligned with regional and global strategies to grow in South Africa . P&L Accountability: Manage full profit and loss responsibility for the sector. Collaboration: Facilitate strong cross-functional collaboration within the broader South African business units to maximize synergies.

Objective: Deliver consistent, sustainable, and profitable sales growth while positioning Diversey as the market leader in the BSC sector.
KNOWLEDGE
BSC Sector ExpertiseDeep understanding of the Building Service Contractor industry, including key players, market dynamics, and customer needs. Familiarity with cleaning, hygiene, and facility management solutions.

Sales & Business DevelopmentProven ability to develop aggressive growth strategies and execute them successfully. Knowledge of sales cycles, account management, and negotiation techniques.

Financial AcumenStrong grasp of P&L management, budgeting, and financial forecasting. Ability to analyze financial data to drive profitability and cost efficiency.

Strategic PlanningExperience creating and implementing business plans aligned with regional and global strategies. Understanding of market analysis, competitive positioning, and long-term growth planning.

Leadership & People DevelopmentKnowledge of team leadership principles, coaching, and talent development. Ability to build high-performance teams and foster a collaborative culture.

Operational ExcellenceUnderstanding of day-to-day operational functions within a sales-driven organization. Familiarity with KPIs, performance tracking, and continuous improvement processes.

Collaboration & Stakeholder ManagementAbility to work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and other business units. Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Industry Regulations & ComplianceAwareness of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the BSC sector. Knowledge of compliance standards and ethical business practices.
IMPACTAggressive Sales Growth: Deliver double-digit growth in the BSC sector and increase TASKI market share. New Business Wins: Secure major BSC accounts and expand penetration in facility management companies. * Export Expansion: Generate measurable revenue from neighboring SADC countries.
