The Role
The Brand Marketing Manager will be instrumental in establishing and growing the Virgin Bet brand in South Africa, leading the development of strategies to drive awareness and customer acquisition. This role offers the opportunity to shape our brand narrative and build a local team to deliver impactful campaigns that resonate with South African audiences. Success in this role means establishing Virgin Bet as a key player in the competitive iGaming landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement brand marketing strategies tailored to the South African market.
Lead the planning and execution of integrated brand campaigns across all channels.
Collaborate with internal teams and global stakeholders to ensure brand consistency.
Build and grow the local brand marketing team, supporting recruitment and development.
Manage relationships with creative, media, and production agencies to deliver high-quality campaigns.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform positioning and messaging.
Oversee the creation of brand assets and ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and ROI tracking.
Monitor and analyse campaign performance, using insights to optimise future activity.
Identify and execute opportunities for brand partnerships, sponsorships, and community engagement.
Key Skills and Experience
Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and integrated campaign planning.
Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and performance tracking platforms.
Excels at managing priorities and consistently delivers high-quality work within tight timelines
Experience managing external agencies and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrable budget management and reporting skills.
Ability to build and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
Skilled in articulating a brand vision and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
