Job Description

The Lewis Group Ltd a leading retailer of furniture, home appliances, electronic goods and homeware through its trading brands Lewis, Best Home and Electric, Beares, Bedzone and UFO. We are passionate about innovation and growth, and we are looking for a Marketing Brand Manager to join our dynamic team.

Purpose:



To manage the brand growth of the respective Lewis Group brands, in the rest of Africa markets, through the creation and execution of marketing communication.

Requirements:



Tertiary education 5 years previous work experience in a Retail/Marketing environment. Digital Marketing Qualification an advantage

Duties (but not limited to):



To implement an annual Brand strategy



Research and understand the customer market Be aware of current economic trends Ensure we are competitive in our marketing in all respective markets

To align all advertising with the main marketing strategy



Strategically align all communications with the annual Brand strategy Ensure that all media selections are efficient and complies with the strategy Coordinate and participate in promotional activities, working with agencies, and suppliers to market products and services.

To develop and manage budget compliance



Evaluate the financial aspects such as budgets, advertising expenses per marketing medium. Ensure that all budgets are complied with.

To develop and maintain relationships with all parties (internal and external)



Facilitate various product and project briefs Coordinate, execute and facilitate distribution of various Point-of-Sale elements and leaflets for online and in-store use. Negotiate various printing and media costs Support and follow-up with stores on all marketing requirements for store openings and promotions. Project manage brand optimisation initiatives for online and in-store. Maintain and update the brands various platforms with latest promotions, products and information Responsible for customer incentives and communication. Maintain relationships with both internal and external service providers to develop and execute campaigns successfully Regular reporting, presentations to senior management
